I’m a newbie to the world of craft beer, better late then never I suppose. I’m excited that Ryan has allowed me to be a part of this venture.

By day I’m knee deep in politics and sometimes it’s hard to remember that I have a life outside of the political realm. Taking time to seek out, find and enjoy a good craft beer helps me keep grounded and is my escape from the never-ending bill analyses, press releases, speeches and letters.

I’d like to think that I bring a wide-eyed, three-year-old-on-Christmas-morning approach to craft beers and beer tasting. To me, there’s nothing better than walking into a nondescript liquor store, unaware of what new and different craft beers await you on the other side of the door. I’m always the one to say, “I’m up for whatever!” in response to to the question of, “What should we try next, guys?” I’ll try any beer at least once…and I just so happen to try a lot of beer a lot more than just once.

As we grow, both our guts and the website, you can look forward to a constant barrage of new content and maybe a new idea here and there…if you have any ideas or thoughts for us, please let us know as we are figuring this out as we go.

I hope you enjoy following us on our hop and malt-induced journey.
