CHICAGO, Ill. – Empire Productions, LLC has joined with Schaumburg Boomers Baseball to launch Schaumburg’s first annual beer fest, being held at Boomers Stadium on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. for general admission ticketholders.
This four-hour, unlimited sample brewery festival features specialty beers from over two-dozen breweries, like Lagunitas, Tenth & Blake, SixPoint, Two Brothers, Half Acre, The Great Divide breweries, and many more. General admission tickets are $49 each and VIP tickets are $75 each, which allows the ticketholder access to the event an hour early at 12:00 p.m. and special tappings from a select group of exclusive brews.
“Not only does this event showcase local Chicago breweries, but national breweries as well,” says Jonathan Boucher, Event Coordinator for Ballpark Brew Fest. “This is such a great opportunity for beer nerds who live outside of the city limits to get a taste of what’s happening in the craft beer scene.”
The exclusive craft brewery festival will showcase the newest batches of craft beers by well-known and up-and-coming brewers, including the country’s first vegan brewery, and live music by “This Must Be The Band,” Chicago’s only Talking Heads tribute band. Guests can utilize the free parking available, as well as the convenience of the Schaumburg Metra station being a quarter-mile from the festival entrance.
“Boomers Stadium is a lot more than just a baseball venue, and events like the Ballpark Brew Fest are a perfect fit for our organization as we get geared up for the summer months,” says Andy Viano, President/General Manager of the Schaumburg Boomers. “I have no doubt this is going to be one of our signature events in 2013 and it’s most definitely one we’re all looking forward to being a part of!”
Tickets will be available at www.ticketmaster.com on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. (CST). For the first week, Ballpark Brew Fest is selling 4 tickets for the price of 3, until February 28, 2013 at 10:00 p.m. (CST).
