This is Rolling Meadows first draft offering available in Chicago since they were featured at our 2012 Chicago Craft Beer Week event, South of 80.

Abe’s Ale, one of three flagship beers offered by the farm-to-pint glass brewery, is a velvety smooth brown ale brewed with maple syrup, molasses and brown sugar. In our lead-up to South of 80 we called Abe’s Ale, “rich, sweet and quite intense…[with] alternating flavors of maple syrup and nuts with perhaps even a hint of ancho chile spice beneath. A marvelous beer for sipping in early fall or late spring, warming and comfortable.”

Run, don’t walk, to Whole Foods Lincoln Park and get a pour while it’s fresh. And, while you’re at it, get tickets for next month’s DOSE Market at the River East Art Center (435 E Illinois St) where Rolling Meadows will be pouring.
