Downstate Cantrall based Rolling Meadows Brewery came home a winner from the Good Food Awards, held earlier this month in San Francisco, CA.

The Good Food Awards recognize small companies who churn out, “tasty, authentic and responsibly produced,” goods.

Rolling Meadows’ Abe’s Ale was among 13 winners in the beer category.

“It reinforces for us that we are making beer that tastes as good as we want it to and we are making it in a sustainable manner,” said Rolling Meadows owner Caren Trudeau.
