It Has Arrived: Fall Beer Freedom Day 2013 is Here

Congrats. You made it.

We hope it wasn’t too rough on you, drinking all those summer beers during a summer-appropriate time period. But now the time has come — officially free to drink all the pumpkin ales, harvest beers, Oktoberfests and everything else. Porters, stouts, brown ales, scotch ales — basically if it’s dark, it’s fair game. Fall Beer Freedom Day has arrived.

It’s been fun for us, focusing on the lighter, hoppier side of things for the past 6 weeks or so. We’ve discovered some new things, found some beers we hope to see back next year, and yes — we’ve also been quite tempted just to chuck everything and pound a bottle of Pumking.

But we’ve soldiered through, as have many of you that have been spreading the #FBFD gospel on Twitter and Facebook. Go forth and imbibe as you see fit, brethren; the day has arrived. College football is in full swing. It’s supposed to be kinda cool out today. Pumpkin spice lattes have been out for about a week and we’ve already spotted our first Winter seasonal.
