Galesburg based G&M Distributors, which — two months ago — was named one of the “Best Places To Work in Illinois,” is expanding.
WGIL Radio, in Galesburg, reports the wholesaler will be adding a 22,000 square foot, climate controlled, warehouse to shore up its current warehouse, which is getting cramped.
“We dedicated mainly to beer storage, but this will allow us to repurpose our existing warehouse as well. So it will include better storage for our non-alcoholic products, our wine and our spirits and it will create more efficiencies for us, hopefully create a couple of jobs when we’re finished with this and will kind of poise up for future growth.”
Construction on the expansion project will begin in a few weeks.
Bent River, based in nearby Moline, Schlafly and Illinois newcomer Tallgrass are among the craft brands distributed by G&M Distributors.
