A pair of Illinois wholesalers have been nominated for the Craft Beer Distributor of the Year Award.

Euclid Beverage in North Aurora and Town and Country Distributors in Itasca are among 26 finalists, the most ever in the seven years the distributor award has been presented. The National Beer Wholesalers Association and the Brewers Association team up to dole out the honor, which also includes a Craft Beer Achievement Award  for the first runner-up and Craft Beer Distributor Recognition Award for the second runner-up.

The award acknowledges, “An American beer distributor who goes above and beyond in their efforts to actively market, sell and promote craft beer,” according to a release from the NBWA.

This is the fourth time Town and Country has been nominated. We profiled the wholesaler last year. Both distributors are part of the MillerCoors OneIllinois network. According to the distribution map on OneIllinois’ website Euclid covers DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall and tiny bit of Cook Counties in northern Illinois while Town and Country handles a number of northwest suburbs including Schaumburg, Des Plaines and Hoffman Estates.
