According to McGee, that means the near Southwest Side brewery will be able to produce 1.7 MILLION barrels of beer.<\/p>\n<div class=\"x-embed x-is-rich x-is-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Petaluma will work at its current 700,000bbls totaling to 2,400,000 bbls&#8230; Does that seem insane? Not from my seat. If you adhere to the <a href=\"https:\/\/aleheads.com\/2013\/03\/20\/what-is-craft\/\">no-publicly-traded-beer rule<\/a> laid out by Aleheads earlier this month, that means the biggest damn craft brewer around has set up shop right here in Chicago. Take that, Asheville, Grand Rapids and all of Oregon.<\/p>\n<p>This is all going on in our backyards.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The world belongs to craft brewing.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Awesome, huh?
