This week, Berghoff&#8217;s revival takes center stage at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sheffieldschicago.com\/\">Sheffield&#8217;s<\/a>, in Lakeview, where six new beers will debut.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.guysdrinkingbeer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image003.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10854\" src=\"https:\/\/www.guysdrinkingbeer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image003-e1371658824636.jpg\" alt=\"image003\" width=\"409\" height=\"283\" \/><\/a>On tap, Thursday, beginning at 6:00 pm:<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Solstice Wit Beer <\/b>(5.2% ABV), made<b> <\/b>with Calamansi juice, an Asian citrus fruit, and spices..<\/li>\n<li><b>Straight Up Hefeweizen <\/b>(5.2% ABV), a Bavarian hefe-weizen, with the creamy goodness of wheat, plus a fruity and spicy nose.<\/li>\n<li><b>Dortwunder Lager <\/b>(5.5% ABV), a classic and evenly balanced pale lager in the Dortmunder tradition.<\/li>\n<li><b>Reppin\u2019 Red Ale <\/b>(6.2% ABV), a serious red ale that mixes tangy rye and crisp toasted malts with plenty of American hop character.<\/li>\n<li><b>Sir Dunkle Crispy Dark Lager <\/b>(5.5% ABV), smooth and malty, with a bright crispness, making a drinkable and very satisfying beer.<\/li>\n<li><b>Germaniac Extra Pale Ale <\/b>(6.3% ABV), brewed with honey and molasses, it will be a briskly hopped extra pale ale patterned after the old \u201coutlaw\u201d beer style, Kottb\u00fcsser.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Berghoff owner Ben Minkoff worked with beer guru Randy Mosher and consultant John Hannafan to craft the new beer recipes, names and packaging.
