A planned brewery in Chicago’s South Loop is closing in on its fundraising goal of 15-thousand dollars, with less than two weeks to go in its Indiegogo campaign.

"southloopbrewing"South Loop Brewing plans on using the money raised, as explained in the video below, to pay for equipment to brew at the recently launched Une Année Brewery. Owner Jerry Nelson is providing the space, but the crew from South Loop has to supply a fermenter (or two), glycol chiller, brewing ingredients and packaging.

Much like other breweries-in-planning South Loop Brewing is offering perks to donating including staples like a logo sticker or magnet all the way up to a beer collaboration and brew day with owner Jeremiah Zimmer and company. The brewery also partnered with bars and restaurants in the South Loop to offer gift certificates to those who donate.
