On a tip, we spotted this Craigslist ad looking for new staff at Goose Island Wrigleyville. You’ll recall that in late September last year, the longtime Wrigleyville brewpub closed up shop citing an issue with the landlord and the minimal revenue outside baseball season.

We reached out to Goose Island for confirmation and comment, and today, we received a statement:

Goose Island Wrigleyville Brewpub will reopen Sunday, April 5th, 2015 for the start of the Chicago Cubs baseball season. Goose Island’s landlord, Midway Holdings, contacted brewpub owner John Hall about two weeks ago and offered a lease for the 2015 baseball season. We are excited to be back and a part of one more baseball season in Wrigleyville!

It was a quick turnaround for Hall from there as the brewpub’s liquor licenses with the city expired in February. All three licenses were approved on March 4th and issued on March 5th.
