There’s no sprawling street festival this year, but the annual Goose Island <\/strong>Proprietor’s Day event will still go on. The Prop Day 2020 event will have a lottery for access like previous years, though it’ll take place over eight staggered days in late November. (Two of those dates will be after <\/em>Thanksgiving — and no, we don’t have details on this year’s Black Friday yet.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another new twist: you’ll be driving through the United Center parking lot to pick up your safe, socially distanced allotment of barrel-aged stout without ever leaving your car. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fans can start entering the lottery tomorrow through October 12th, though Goose is allowing “only one (1) lottery submission per person during the lottery window” — a new addition for this year compared to prior years offering one entry per day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your lottery entry is a winner, you’ll be able to pick up your $130 allotment at a pre-set date and time. That’s another marked change from paying for an admission ticket, then the opportunity to purchase select bottles of your choosing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
