Look for brewery &#8220;snapshots&#8221; to follow on GuysDrinkingBeer.com with more info on the breweries and beers to be poured.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are not required for this event, and the following beers scheduled to appear will be available in flights or full pours.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"https:\/\/bigmuddybrewing.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Big Muddy Brewing<\/a> (Murphysboro, IL):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Saluki Dunkeldog &#8211; A Big Muddy flagship, subtle but very flavorful<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Big Muddy Monster &#8211; Hearty, rich and hefty India Brown Ale<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From <a href=\"https:\/\/rmbrewery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rolling Meadows Brewery<\/a> (Springfield, IL):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Lincoln&#8217;s Lager &#8211; A dry, pleasantly hopped lager; a perfectly sessionable \u201clawnmower beer\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Abe\u2019s Ale &#8211; A nutty, maple-sweet amber with a surprisingly well-hidden 9.5% abv<\/li>\n<li>Springfield Wheat &#8211; Aggressive cloves, subtle banana with a nice creamy texture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From Bent River Brewery (Moline, IL):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Uncommon Stout &#8211; One of the Quad City\u2019s most popular beers; grassy with a touch of mint and licorice<\/li>\n<li>Jalapeno Pepper Ale &#8211; Not for the weak of heart or palate; A pure-pepper blast of heat and spice<\/li>\n<li>Dry-Hopped Pale Ale &#8211; Piney, citrus-y, full bodied and quite hefty for a pale ale<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From <a href=\"https:\/\/sixrowbrewco.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Six Row Brewing Company<\/a> (St. Louis, MO): .<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Whale &#8211; Their flagship wheat pale ale, starts light and sweet and finishes with a hefty amount of wheat<\/li>\n<li>Double IPA: Not a palate-destroyer, this beer walks right up to the edge of \u201ctoo much\u201d but doesn\u2019t cross it<\/li>\n<li>Dry Hopped DIPA ON CASK: Okay, this one might be a palate destroyer. We&#8217;ll find out on Tuesday.<\/li>\n<li>Vanilla Porter ON CASK: Six Row\u2019s porter offers a nice peanut-butter flavor; the addition of vanilla blends pleasantly with the lighter-than-usual body for the style<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>GuysDrinkingBeer.com started as a beer blog in April of 2010, but soon evolved into coverage of Chicago-centric beer news, reviews of cellared beers, unique vertical tastings and hard-to-find regional offerings as well as their legislative outreach campaign called Save The Craft.
