***END UPDATE***

Lagunitas Founder Tony Magee took to twitter on Monday to provide an update on how things are coming along with a planned brewery and tap room in Chicago. He also notes that Rahm Emanuel “digs craft beer.”

The tap room, at 18th and Rockwell in the Douglas Park neighborhood, is slated for an April opening while the production brewery (at the same address) is positioned for a September opening.

Note: This place is going to be huge. Massive. Gargantuan. So we’re looking forward to our first visit, as you can imagine.
