Over the past few months we’ve been documenting the various employees of Goose Island — the brewery proper, as well as the brewpub — leaving the mother ship one by one.<\/p>\n

For those who remain, if you’re interested in working for Lagunitas, today wouldn’t be the worst day to shoot your resume over to Lagunitas head honcho and craft beer guru Tony Magee.<\/p>\n

Magee took to Twitter last night to tell a short tale of the Budweiser exec feeling out a potential Lagunitas buyout, the same one apparently responsible for the Goose Island purchase.<\/p>\n

Judging from the tone of Magee’s tweets, you get the feeling he’s not a big fan of that particular collective organization:<\/p>\n

Have I mentioned the visit I got from the Budweiser guy who did the deal to buy Goose? We had dinner, a burger, I think. He was shopping.<\/p>\n
